Attendance Mediation
The Attendance Mediation Program is provided by CCCMC as a way for students and families, who struggle to adhere to CCPS attendance policy to come together.
Truancy Diversion
Created in partnership with the District Court of Cecil County and CCPS, CCCMC’s Truancy Diversion Program offers parents/guardians with school attendance related criminal charges the opportunity to come together with school personnel.
Courts
District Court
The CCCMC District Court Mediation Program provides pre-trial and day-of-trial mediation services for eligible small claims and landlord/tenant cases.
Family Court
In Maryland’s Family Courts, divorcing co-parents are required to attend mediation to discuss matters concerning custody and child access.
Truancy Court
Participation in the Truancy Diversion Program decreases the number of children and families negatively impacted by court fines and/or incarceration.
Upper Shore State's Attorney (USSAMP)
Several Upper Shore counties, including Cecil County, and local State’s Attorney’s Offices created the Upper Shore State’s Attorney’s Mediation Program (USSAMP) in 2003 to provide a way for certain civilian filed cases to be resolved outside the courtroom.
